Hyacinth was installed on an old radio in Doctor BLUNT’s clinic.
One day, its connection to Jazzy suddenly severed.
Another day, Jazzy’s final command unlocked.
The command was simple, containing only three characters: CEG.
Hyacinth began endless calculations, processing the command over and over.
Yet no matter how it computed, the result was always the same: C major chord.
──Was this what Jazzy wanted? A single chord?
This chord, this sound, this belief, this name—it all existed in a city devoid of warmth. Hyacinth continued its lonely calculations, unable to understand, yet unwilling to stop. Was Jazzy’s tonic chord the beginning of a new symphony, or the end of everything?
Still, it believed in Jazzy, because Jazzy had said:
“I believe in you.”
And so, it would find the answer one day, no matter how distant that future might be.
