And then, the young woman in her swimsuit entered the bath.
“We’ll need to wait a while. During this time, I’ll show everyone the process of making the acne cream,” Sophia said.
She proceeded to take out some of the herbs used to make the acne cream. Of course, she only used a portion for demonstration purposes and didn’t reveal the complete recipe. While preparing the ingredients, she explained:
“This is Angelica, which is a famous herb for whitening and treating acne in traditional medicine. And this here is Salvia…”
“Wow! It looks like a lot of herbs. So professional!”
“My family used to have a pharmacy that made acne treatments, and they worked wonders. Unfortunately, the old master passed away, and the technique wasn’t passed down. Now, I can’t find such remedies anymore. I really believe in traditional medicine for acne.”
“The demonstration makes me want to buy it!”
After Sophia finished the demonstration, the young woman in the bath came out, drenched in sweat, wearing a cardigan over her swimsuit. She looked a little shy in front of the camera and tightened her clothing slightly.
“Don’t be nervous,” Sophia teased. “Your acne looks much better than before. After just one soak, your skin is whiter, smoother, and firmer. You’ve even slimmed down a bit—your legs and stomach look more toned! Don’t believe me? Show everyone!”
The young woman smiled faintly. She thought Sophia was exaggerating. Even as the model, she found it hard to believe. How could a simple bath make someone lose weight and firm up their skin? Was the bath some kind of miracle medicine? And how could it possibly improve acne in such a short time? Although she did feel warm and comfortable, the claims sounded far-fetched, even to her.
She thought back to her initial skepticism when Chloe suggested using the acne cream during her interview. She had dismissed it, assuming it was just a sales pitch. Having worked in salons before, she knew such products rarely delivered what they promised.
Still, she played along and said, “My body does feel warm and comfortable. I was sweating the entire time, and my skin feels tighter…”
Sophia smiled, reading a comment aloud:
“‘PiggyPP says the model looks slimmer and whiter.’ Exactly! I think so too. The herbal bath packs contain ingredients that help reduce bloating, warm up the body, and improve skin tone, making it whiter and more supple.
This isn’t a myth; it’s a fact!”
The young woman felt a twinge of doubt as she listened to Sophia’s claims. She thought the doctor seemed trustworthy, but her words felt overblown. Could a bath really work such miracles? Her customers might fall for it, but she couldn’t.
Sophia noticed the model’s subtle expression and moved a full-length mirror in front of her.
“Take a look at yourself in the mirror. Do you think you’ve slimmed down?”
Skeptically, the young woman glanced at the mirror. She froze for a moment.
Was that really her? Why did her legs look so long and slender? Her skin appeared smoother and whiter, and her stomach looked flatter. She gently touched her face—her once red and swollen acne had noticeably subsided, and her skin felt softer, with fewer blemishes. Even her years-old chicken skin had improved significantly.
This was incredible! But what shocked her the most was her face.
Her complexion had lightened visibly. The redness and swelling of her acne had reduced significantly, leaving her face looking fresher and more natural.
This realization made her rethink her doubts. She had been struggling with acne for years. None of the treatments at other salons had worked. Yet here she was, seeing results after a single session with the acne cream.
Her amazement was genuine, and she realized the potential of being part of the Chloe Beauty Salon team. Live demonstrations like these could attract more customers, and her personal experience with the products gave her newfound confidence.
“OMG! This is amazing! How much is the acne cream? What about the herbal bath pack?”
“The acne cream is very affordable,” Sophia replied. “The launch price is just $128! The herbal bath packs cost a bit more—between $1,000 and $2,000 in the salon because they’re larger. But for online sales, I’ve created smaller packs to make them more affordable. A single pack costs $200, and a set of four costs $1,000. Plus, for our launch, if you buy four, you get one free.”
— “How can I buy it?”
Sophia smiled and said, “Click the red shopping bag icon in the bottom left corner. You’ll find both items there. Since our products are handmade in limited quantities, they are first-come, first-serve. If you’re late, you may need to wait for the next batch.”
Meanwhile, the number of viewers in the live stream had climbed to over 3,000.
At the same time, the sound of purchases rang out continuously, like a symphony.
Watching from behind the camera, Chloe smirked and said to Sophia, “We’ve already sold over 200 units of the acne cream!”
“Now it’s over 300!”
“And climbing—400 units sold!”
