“Power emanated from her; her entire body radiated intense heat, which I could perceive in waves, and as her anger intensified, the heat became more pronounced.”
Although I did not observe Caelan’s eyes directly, I perceived the luminescence emanating from her visage, and Rose’s eyes widened significantly, instilling her with trepidation that overflowed from within. those moons Caelan along her back. It is neither a tattoo nor is mine, for that matter.
Caelan regarded him with narrowed eyes.
He was astonished by this revelation. He had always believed that the man had acquired a tattoo during the week following her departure; Caelan was not in a sound state of mind that week, consumed by rage and confusion, while Hudson and he incessantly sought to attack any living creatures they encountered. Devastated his room and exhibited extreme unapproachability, causing even his parents to maintain distance.
“She informed Rose immediately prior to her demise.” “Allow me to embody the malevolent being you perceive me to be.” She then abruptly snapped her neck, exerting all her strength to accomplish this. I have never witnessed her in such a state of anger, Caelan, nor her power, whatever it may be. Intimately connected to her emotions.
I have already deduced that. Becomes luminous when enraged or agitated. His mouth involuntarily twitched at the recollection of her and Amelia’s eyes radiating as they engaged in their mating ritual.
Mason struck him on the side of his head.
Caelan smiled, “Apologies, my friend, I understand she is…” He ceased verbal communication and transitioned to the mind-link for privacy. Information regarding ‘your sister’ that remained solely between the two of them and Belinda. How is your mother faring? I observed her while exiting.
“Not favourable, to be candid with you.” Entered and gazed at her, tears streamed from her eyes. Maurice was present at that time. She appeared indifferent at that moment. He did not overlook it.
Mason established a mental connection with him in return.
“Did he say anything?””
I believe he was already aware. Aside from blinking in astonishment at her presence in the room, he merely sighed deeply and stated he would depart, then exited the room.
“Fascinating.” Us, a moment later, “She has been admitted to this hospital numerous times previously, Caelan.” It is probable that he has conducted her blood analysis prior to today. It would have had markers that correspond to any of us, potentially indicating a royal bloodline.
“I suppose so,” Caelan nodded. “She may be able to elucidate her powers that cause her to emit light.”
Perhaps I am inclined to wager that my mother possesses all the answers; we merely need to encourage her to communicate with us.
“It may be somewhat simpler at this moment, she is aware, as I assume you are.”
“Yes,” Caelan conceded, “but I doubt she will at this juncture.” I advised her to remain. She informed me that she was unable to comply and gestured negatively with her head. Departed in tears.
‘Unprepared then. She is acquainted with Caelan. It is inevitable that everything will be revealed; it is merely a question of timing, I presume.
“Let us allow her additional time before we advocate for it.”
I will not advocate for it, Joe. I am indifferent to her paternal lineage, her potential influence, or her complete or incomplete involvement.
“I adore her, irrespective of her lineage.”
Do you believe Kaiden will? Do you believe that humanity will desire, or insist on knowing? Powers are rare and sought after.
“I am uncertain,” and Caelan was indeed uncertain. Nonetheless, he acknowledged that Mason was correct. The Alphas cherished power, and his Daisy possessed a degree of it. What it was, who could ascertain? Should it fully manifest? Or if she might someday possess it? No one was aware of that either. She was unaware of it. That was the sole certainty he possessed.
“I will remain with her, Joe.” “If you wish to return and repose, your night has been as tumultuous as mine,” he articulated.
“No, I shall remain until she awakens.” Require for my own benefit.
Caelan was not surprised by this; she understood that the man would not abandon her while she lay unconscious and vulnerable in a hospital bed. They each took a chair and positioned themselves on either side of her, as customary, to oversee her.
Daisy’s Perspective
Her eyes opened; the room was poorly illuminated. Upon awakening, she immediately experienced the searing sensation of her own tears and recollected the words of the moon Goddess. Deprived Mason of his companion, to assume the role of her guardian.
Sat abruptly upright in bed, her gaze fixed on the man whose life her existence had devastated. “No,” she sobbed, anguish tearing through her heart; it was entirely her fault that he was alone.
She wept as she clasped her hands to the moons on her back. The emblem of her guardian, with all her claws extended.
She began to scream while clawing at herself, at the mark on her back, attempting to eliminate it; she needed to rid herself of those moons, that mark that had devastated his life. “GET IT OFF ME,” she shouted incessantly.
His hands were upon her, attempting to restrain her. She directed her claws towards his arm, targeting his protector mark, and tore through it, only to witness the wound heal and the mark reemerge. She screamed, “Get away from me,” and then lashed out, attempting to force him to depart.
He retreated while she redirected her claws towards herself.
Discovered a pair of hands on her arms. “Calm down, Daisy,” Caelan said. She directed her gaze towards him.
“Remove it from me,” she cried, tears streaming down her face as he struggled to prevent her from tearing the mark from her back. She was exerting all her strength against him. Her sole consideration was the necessity to remove it from her skin, to tear it away, in order to liberate Mason from his solitary confinement.
“Silence…Please compose yourself, Daisy.” He possessed greater strength than she did and ultimately succeeded in preventing her from damaging her skin. “What is the matter?” he enquired.
“Remove it from me, Caelan. Remove it. Remove it. Remove it,” she shouted frantically, tugging at her arms in an attempt to free herself from his grasp.
She then turned on him, striking him with her fists, overwhelmed by the anguish of what she had inflicted upon Mason, the consequences of her existence upon him too immense to bear. Subsequently, she dissolved into tears, clinging to him and weeping into his chest. His arms enveloped her, holding her firmly as she grasped onto him.
