I appreciate that Stella, the Arctic wolf, was likely forming a bond with her. Stella appeared unfazed and merely smiled at the woman. Clearly, Fade harboured affection for Annabella; otherwise, her wolf would not tolerate such behaviour.
It would be beneficial for both Brianna and Stella to have a connection within the pack; thus, it was agreed that Annabella should come and reside with them. I informed her that she was not obligated to return if she so desired. Nathan could return, and she could remain for as long as she desired, as he would arrange a complete escort to accompany her home when she was prepared to leave.
That elicited a smile from the woman directed at him. He contemplated that she was not departing. She was partially of Arctic wolf lineage and had discovered the family she believed to be lost. If he remembered accurately, she had mentioned it had been eighty years since she had seen one. Did it not seem that there was a desire to be separated from Stella?
Ryder sipped his coffee and informed Annabella that her companion was also welcome to remain, ensuring they would not be separated for an extended period. I listened to Logan enthusiastically recount his experience of riding around the pack with Ryder on his motorbike for several hours this morning. He was able to traverse several jumps, achieving a slight elevation in the process.
The boy was exuberant, speaking rapidly, and was equally thrilled about having been permitted to steer the bike on the return journey from school.
He was darting around her office as if he were on a motorbike, imitating the sounds and feigning jumps over obstacles. It was quite endearing; he had evidently experienced a delightful morning, which was pleasing to observe.
Once he ceased discussing motorbikes, he recounted his encounters with wolves that he had observed closely while accompanying Ryder. He was surprised by their larger size and was subsequently inundated with enquiries regarding their ability to recognise one another in wolf form. Why were some individuals in wolf form while others were not?
How could they distinguish one another? Particularly when several of them appeared identical to him. He possessed numerous enquiries. Brianna proposed that he document all the questions so that either she or his father could respond to them adequately. He was provided with a piece of paper and a pen.
