We waited for hours but this girl they talking about hasn’t arrive yet. I was tied with silver chains and I can’t break it with my human strength. But don’t get it wrong, silver doesn’t wolf weakness. We just have weird reaction to it, like allergies.
I was trying to break free when I feel the wind changes. I feel someone is looking at me right now. I look around. Kaia and Hallie sleep on the couches on the sides.
“Who’s there?” I ask even I don’t see a thing.
Something started to appear in front of me. It’s like a smoke but after few seconds it turns into a human. A girl with a pale skin and white hair. Her eyes is silver and she looks beautiful yet dangerous.
“Who are you?” I ask.
“It’s been a long time Rylee Callie.” She said.
“How did you know me and what you are?”
“I know you ever since the world begun. The precious wolf of Moon Goddess that choses to become half human here on earth.” She says.
“What are you talking about? I don’t know you and no idea what you are talking about.”
“Rylee Callie, you always don’t know me when we see each other. The Moon Goddess might erase your memory of the past. Let me tell you this, once I find out where you hide him, I will kill you and send you back to that bitch up there.” She says.
“Are you the one who help them kidnap me?”
“Those two idiots are easy to be fooled and used. Just some magic right there and wisher in here, they follow me without even asking.
“What are you? You’re not a wolf.” I ask.
“of course, I’m not. I don’t want to be like you and be manipulated by that bitch of a God.” She says.
“Then who are you and what are you? Why did you help them? Are you going to kill me?”
“So many questions yet we have little time. I will kill you, yes, but not now. Not until you lead me to him. You’re the only key to where I can find him. If I find him and release him from his prison, I will kill you and all of her creation here in earth.” She says.
“Who are you looking for? I only imprison rogues. If you’re related to one of them, you should look at pack prisons not me.”
“You might not understand now. I just use them to get you here. I want to get something from you.”
“What is it?”
“Your blood. I can’t touch because of the barrier she puts in that pack. She always looks after of her favorite children.” She says.
I’m getting confuse about what she means. I don’t even know her or what she is. She’s making my head aches.
She moves close to me and make a small cut on my arms and started to collect my blood.
“What are you going to do with my blood?”
“You will know soon. Now I need to leave. Your mate is outside, ready to attack and get you.” She says before she suddenly disappears.
Are they freaking kidding me? They did this shit for my blood only? What the hell is she up to?
I hear Kaia and Hallie wake up. But before they can fully stand, Spencer burst in the door and look around. He growls as he saw blood of me in the floor.
He growls and the two girls embrace themselves. I saw Amelia and Leonard in the door too, looking for their only child.
Am I dreaming? This is just a joke, right? They kidnap me for this? I’m getting crazy in their charade.
“Callie.” Spencer said as he tears the chains around me and hug me.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know it will happen to you.” He says.
“Spencer I’m fine. I don’t even know what this thing happens but there is something you need to know.”
“What is it?”
“There’s a woman here a while ago. She said a lot of crazy things and then get sample of my blood then left.”
“Callie, we’ve been outside for hours but we didn’t see any woman goes out from this house.” Spencer says.
“I saw here, promise. She even told me some stories and she say that she will be watching me till she finds him.” I said.
“Him? Who’s him?” He asks.
I’m about to answer when Kaia and Hallie started to throw up.
“What’s happening?” Amelia asks.
“I don’t know. I didn’t do that.” I say.
Amelia grab her daughter and help her. Hallie started to throw-up blood and that caught all of our attention. Kaia did the same.
Amelia and Leonard move fast and try to save Kaia and Hallie but it’s too late. They died losing so much blood.
“The woman. The woman who’s here a while ago. I know what she is now. She’s a witch. She does this. She helps them kidnapped me. She told so many stories to me. She used them because she said that she can’t get through the barrier the Moon Goddess put in our pack.” I said.
“Callie, there’s no witch now. They all been killed thousands of years ago when they use the power bestowed to them by the Moon Goddess to do bad things.” Spencer says.
“I’m not lying right now and I will tell you this, she will be back and kill us all.” I said.
“Let’s go back to pack now. I think this issue needs to talk later. Hallie and Kaia died today. We need to bury them even they did this.”
I look at Amelia and Leonard. My heart breaks at the sight of their grief.
That witch used them. This shouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t tricked them. I think that she uses her tricks to manipulate Hallie’s head. Regarding Kaia, she hates me all the time, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she did this.
