The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 90

Attention

Therefore. “It has been ten years, Mason, and he has discovered his Mate,” she reiterated. She was unable to comprehend Caelan.

MASON seated himself beside her and exhaled deeply. “It is exceedingly complex, Jo-Jo.” “You and Caelan,” he exhaled once more. “A history devoid of answers.” Do not assume he is indifferent. He indeed does, Daisy. However, he has imposed numerous restrictions upon himself, effectively cornering himself, so to speak.

“I do not comprehend.” I liberated us both, Mason. What is the reason for his unhappiness? Unresolved? I overcame it, and I was the one who endured him. “Not conversely.”

He gazed at her in silence for an extended moment before extending his hand to pat hers. As soon as his hand made contact with hers, a surge of pain coursed through her, prompting her to retract her hand and avert her gaze.

“Daisy?””

N.. “Nothing,” she stammered, merely another directive from her Alpha that she had to confront.

His hand grasped her chin and rotated her face towards his. She inhaled sharply as pain pierced her face; his fingers released immediately, and his eyes widened in disbelief. “He truly didn’t?”He uttered with a harsh tone, indicating considerable anger.

She remained silent.

“Daisy, please confirm that he did not impose an Alpha order on you once more?””

She was unable to disclose that to him, as Caelan had already accomplished it.

“Imbecile,” he retorted, “I will handle it, Daisy,” he informed her.

“Simply disregard it, Mason,” she exhaled gently. “If it will avert his irritation, let it be for the time being.”

“Are you aware?” What you are enquiring about pertains to locating your Mate during the full moon.

“I understand, he will need to obtain Caelan’s consent to make physical contact with me.” This conversation was unlikely to be pleasant when she eventually confronted her Mate.

“It is improbable that he will bestow it upon Daisy.” You are aware of that, correct? Hudson continues to desire Amelia. It constitutes a component of the problem.

“I am aware.” “I have a more significant issue, MASON,” she exhaled, then gazed at him. “Amelia continues to seek the approval of her Alpha wolf.”

“Oh…” he was now gazing at her, a subtle frown on his face. “Is Amelia not opposed to the idea at all?” Although they are no longer Mates.

“It appears that she does not share the opinion of Hudson, her Alpha.” If he desires her, he may possess her.

“This is an issue; to my knowledge, Hudson still asserts his claim over Amelia, which explains the hostility you are experiencing from Caelan.”

“Esteemed MASON, what recommendations do you propose regarding this matter?”She bit her lip.

“I am uncertain, to be candid.” “This situation is unacceptable.”

Daisy conceded, “I am aware of that.”

Her stomach growled, prompting Mason to raise an eyebrow at her. She shrugged, stating, “I was en route to procure sustenance; I was not seeking a man, especially not an Alpha, to kiss me.”

I will procure something for you. It is advisable to remain here until the left side.

Daisy did not contest him in any way. Not after what she had overheard in the hallway this evening.

I will also send breakfast upstairs. “They should all be departed by lunchtime,” Daisy affirmed. “It may be prudent to request Alpha Kaiden to maintain distance from me or my quarters.”

Mason informed her, to her astonishment, that he had already departed. She bit her lip and shut her eyes.

“Is the alliance of the pack compromised?””

“The man asserted he will return on the full moon.”

Daisy’s eyes abruptly opened, and she directed her gaze towards him. He was more than slightly anxious; was he articulating what she believed he was articulating? It certainly could not be that.

Caelan is exceedingly discontented regarding the matter. However, he was part of one of the groups arriving regardless. Caelan will not withdraw the offer, but I anticipate it will not be an enjoyable evening.

“So, I will be confined to this room, correct?””

“I sincerely hope that is not the case,” he exhaled. “However, I am uncertain, to be candid.” It is three weeks away. He may regain composure and rationality by that time. “I will retrieve that food for you,” he stated as he rose.

Regain composure and attain clarity of thought. She speculated, unaware of the necessity for his actions, presumably influenced by Hudson. Perhaps that was the reason he had not Marked Lydia. Hudson may have been opposed to the concept. She exhaled deeply, remained oblivious, and felt powerless to alter the situation. She had already performed the sole action available to them both a decade prior: she rejected him, a decision he was incapable of making; it had to originate from her. She had liberated them both from their mutual suffering.

Caelan’s parents needed to motivate him to pursue Lydia. This would resolve the entire dilemma; he would be infatuated and content with her, a girl whose sole desire was to be his Mate. Her manner of speaking about him. I conversed with him and observed him. It was evident that she was utterly enamoured with Caelan. He needed to observe it.

All others did.

Her portrait of the two of them might illustrate their compatibility as an Alpha and a Luna; he would be elated to see it, subsequently marking her, which would ensure Daisy’s permanent removal from his attention. She would merely be another member of the pack to him, and nothing beyond that.
