She sensed Ryder’s gaze upon her but refrained from meeting his eyes, instead focussing on Carlos as he stepped over “on 5.” Layla smiled directly at him while advancing fully. Carlos began to laugh, confident that they would not lose, and subsequently counted them down. It pressed Ryder’s treadmill speed button until it reached the maximum of 20 kilometres per hour, as she did with hers.
“Defeat him, mother,” Logan exclaimed with great enthusiasm.
“Oh, I intend to,” Layla asserted, exhibiting no signs of fatigue. She had not engaged in the challenge until 20 minutes ago, sprinting vigorously on the treadmill, effectively extending her legs, and genuinely relishing the experience of running at maximum speed.
Ryder and his wolf completed the task in a mere 15 minutes. His wolf growled at hers as he departed.
Displeased, he had been defeated by her. Brianna scoffed, imitating his remarks regarding Logan, “A bit of a sore loser.” Both she and Layla were thoroughly entertained. Reduced the treadmill’s incline and jogged for an additional 5 minutes at a diminished speed, then dismounted the treadmill.
Logan approached her immediately. Your remarkable mother. You defeated them all.
“Without a doubt, son,” she winked at him. “You will run like me one day.”
“Excellent, I shall defeat them all as well.” He appeared exceedingly enthusiastic about it.
“Breakfast,” Ryder announced, sounding still disgruntled as he rose from his previous position and joined the others, while she continued jogging to assert her dominance over them.
“I observe that your superior is a poor sport,” she remarked to Carlos with a smile.
“My name is Brianna.” “Utilize it.” Ryder retorted sharply at her and exited the gym entirely. She almost laughed, exited the gym, returned to her room, showered, and collapsed. She required a substantial nap rather than sustenance. Layla was also experiencing a positive state, demonstrating her superiority and enjoying the act of subduing the entire unit, particularly the Alpha himself.
She sat down to eat when Stella called to inform her that it had arrived, saying, “I knew it.” Stella smiled at her. “What is the reason for the growling that everyone exhibits?” That is peculiar.
“Not intended for them?” Doesn’t Carlos growl at you?”
“Indeed,” she smiled. “I somewhat appreciate that.” She chuckled lightly. “Mr. Wood did not enjoy losing to you, Brianna.” Imagine that man dislikes losing to anyone.
“Not to mention that I am a diminutive woman.” She stood at merely 5 feet 6 inches, small in comparison to him.
All individuals were now laughing.
“I require a brief rest; I scarcely obtained any sleep last night,” she yawned.
“How do you perform in such a manner with minimal rest?” What is the cost?”
“Perhaps two hours,” Brianna remarked with a shrug. “It is advantageous that I have…” she paused, nearly mentioning Layla, “been running every day since I was ten.” I have a grievance with him, and he probably does not run daily. I doubt any of them do.
“You interacted amicably with him today,” Stella remarked. “This is an initial step.”
“I suppose, if one can refer to it in that manner.”
“I shall proceed.” Stella smiled directly at her. “May not be as unfavorable”
Brianna remained silent; she had irritated Ryder earlier this morning. Not only had she defeated him with apparent ease, but he had also rebuked her for using his name, which was somewhat peculiar. She was unconcerned about not utilising it. Yawned once more, “I am going to retire for the night; I need to speak with Devon this afternoon.” Kindly contact him to finalise that arrangement, Stella.

“Promotion, or have you already overlooked that Carlos will require your presence in Florida; when he departs, so shall you.”
“I do not need to leave immediately,” she replied, shaking her head.
“They must return to attend to their responsibilities, Stella.” “I do not wish to remain here for an extended period.” She embraced Logan and smiled at him, “You performed exceptionally well today.”
He smiled at her, self-satisfied, and she felt pride in him as well today. I was curious whether he could have outrun Carlos. It appeared feasible; Enzo was his sibling, and it was evident that they did not operate in the same manner as she and Logan.
Entered her bed and fell asleep immediately. The run appeared to be precisely what she required to induce sleep and clarify her thoughts. The sole focus of both her and Layla throughout was to defeat them, and nothing beyond that.
