Brianna fixed him with a glare for a moment before sighing; running was her passion, whether alone or with Logan. His statement indicated that he had, at some juncture, notified his Alpha and the remainder of the unit. She had not contemplated that. But should she have assumed.

“I understand that young Logan has issued a challenge to Nolan.”
Enzo smiled at the boy, “That is my elder brother, and I am confident you can surpass him as well.” He is quite sluggish.
Nolan admonished him as he departed to change.
She and Logan awaited their arrival as they all engaged in stretching together. “What is the reason for their actions?”Logan enquired of her.
Brianna responded, “They wish to avoid self-injury.”
“We never engage in that; we simply embark and proceed.” He gazed at her with a questioning expression.
Brianna smiled, “I am a naturally gifted runner, and so are you.” They must condition themselves to run as you and I do.
“Oh…” he appeared to contemplate it for a moment. “Excellent, I shall surpass each one of them,” observed Logan as he rubbed his hands together at the prospect of a greater challenge. Brianna leaned close to his ear and enquired softly.
Is Rowan conscious?”
“He is.” Logan affirmed with a nod and a smile directed at her, evidently his wolf was eager to confront all of them.
“Then proceed to the treadmill,” she teased him playfully.
The duo approached, as she had grown weary of their delay; it had been a full five minutes, and she was fatigued by the monotony.
“I am placing my bet on Brianna,” Stella declared.
“Traitor,” Logan retorted, prompting Stella to laugh.
She observed them all ascend onto their treadmills, expressing her disdain at the smirks adorning their faces. Indeed, they constituted the Alpha and his contingent. No one was familiar with her or Logan; they probably only ran once or twice a week during training, and if her memory served her correctly, it was for approximately 30 minutes, which she doubted had changed significantly. This will be a time trial, not a race to the conclusion. Let us determine who can sustain the longest duration of running.
She smiled at Logan, who might even surpass one or two of them. She noticed Rowan’s gaze shift to the surface towards her, and they commenced their departure. He had never defeated her, and although she was not inclined to allow that to change today, she hoped he would triumph over Delta and Gamma.
She was sprinting between Logan and, predictably, Ryder on her opposite side. Logan was positioned with Carlos beside him, as the boy had issued a challenge that Carlos had accepted. The man incessantly provoked Logan with conversation until Logan snapped at him to be silent and simply run. Approximately 15 minutes in, Brianna almost laughed. She was aware that Logan despised that.
She occasionally did it to him as well.
Her gaze shifted to Stella, who was seated nearby on gym equipment, comfortably cross-legged, absorbed in her phone with a slight frown adorning her face. “Stella, what is the matter?”She enquired, filled with concern, aware that it would divert Carlos’s attention, and indeed it did; the man nearly toppled off the back of his treadmill as his head turned abruptly to gaze at Stella.
“Ugh, Miguel contacted me,” Stella remarked, rolling her eyes with evident disinterest. Carlos departed the treadmill before it had come to a halt.
“I am victorious,” Logan exclaimed. “You lose, Nolan,” he expressed with evident delight at his victory.
Brianna snorted in amusement, aware that Miguel had not called; Stella was using the work mobile, not her personal phone. She was probably occupied with work and reading emails, but was aware that it would distract Carlos as well. He must have indicated something that enabled Stella to realise it would be effective in diverting his attention.
“You employ unscrupulous tactics,” she heard Enzo chuckle behind her.
“I did not engage in any actions,” and she had not; she merely posed a question. Stella was the one who engaged in unscrupulous behaviour. The woman anticipated witnessing her partner being defeated by Logan, likely as retribution for rousing her from slumber at this early hour.
