“Why are there only three individuals in each photograph?” Where have your father and siblings departed? Observing Talia’s shifting expression, Leena asked as she smiled faintly.
“They consistently refused to share anything with me, not even a family photograph,” the young woman confessed, redirecting her attention to the phone in Lena’s possession.
The Gamma female stayed mute, seeing that there was an underlying issue of which she was oblivious, and that Talia was reluctant to disclose.
“Oh my goodness!?” Who is this young individual? She is exceedingly adorable! Lena’s eyes softened as she bounced in her seat two or three times while seeing Talia’s white cat. She possessed an excessive number of images of her cat.
“She was my cat,” Lena recognised the deep sorrow in Luna’s tone. She had evidently left her pet behind prior to joining the Sothis Star Pack.
“It is painful, correct?” Lena asked, her hand placed on Talia’s shoulders. Regrettably, the young female wolf merely acquiesced.

Talia’s eyes narrowed at Lena in disbelief.

Talia was astonished by this information. He has an aversion to cats. He had observed her affection for cats in Sardinia Moon Pack, however she was unaware of his aversion to them.
“I will now allow you to relish your new acquisitions.” Lena asserted, “I have numerous obligations to address today,” as she departed. Talia hesitated momentarily before retrieving her phone and laptop, her eyes focused on the door through which Jason may enter at any moment. It did not seem to be a deception, as Liam had perpetrated against her. He accused her of appropriating his glitter pen after he had given it to her.
Although they were children then, the memory of their father’s malevolent glares remains etched in the young woman’s consciousness. Talia commenced her examination of the phone and laptop after Jason failed to return to retrieve them. They unequivocally belonged to her; she possessed a congenial smile.
Upon receiving a call on her phone, she promptly placed it back on the table. She applied her fingers to her chest. It was not Jason; it was merely a phone call. Talia’s eyes sparkled at recognising the incoming call from her sister.

“Inquire!” Talia insisted on a response. She had been genuinely apprehensive about her sister following their prior phone conversation, although her sister had

Talia, why are you enquiring so extensively today? Shall we discuss a another topic? The elder sister paused her probing thoughts with a weary, heavy sigh.
“Very well, let us discuss an alternative topic,” Talia remarked, acknowledging her defeat and recognising that she had been excessively contemplative.

“I acquired a new laptop and a smartphone today.”

“Indeed,” Lena was astonished by what she was hearing. However, she felt a sense of relief that he was adequately attending to her sister’s needs.
“Let us conduct a video call immediately.” Lena suggested enthusiastically, “I am certain you wish to see Mother.”
“I am eager to see my mother!” Talia was unable to restrain her elation as she sprang from the sofa. She had entirely overlooked that possessing a smartphone would enable her to video call and view her family.
“Very well, I shall contact Mother!” Lena terminated the call and immediately embarked on her endeavour to convey the delightful news to her mother.
Talia swiftly dismantled her old phone and transferred her SIM card to the new one. She wore a broad smile while attempting to activate the phone, but it was unsuccessful.
What transpired with it? What is the reason behind its malfunction? She had a minimum of 10 minutes to activate it, but nothing was effective, so she chose to utilise her laptop for the video call. Fortunately, the new laptop functioned seamlessly and powered on swiftly; however, Talia soon recognised her lack of knowledge regarding video calling on a laptop. She needed aid!
She promptly left her chamber and commenced searching for Lena; but, as previously mentioned, Lena was occupied with her responsibilities and was not present at the pack house.
She subsequently sought David, only to find that he had departed the pack house with Jason. Talia pondered as she sat in the living room. Why was there no one present when she required assistance?
