Josie instinctively furrowed her brows, feeling a sense of amazement in her heart.
“Josie, do you know that person?”
Emery followed her sister-in-law’s gaze and then saw Jacob holding Macy, along with the youthful and stunning Lara.
“That’s the blind date my second aunt introduced to me.”
“The bracelet is a gift from him,” Josie replied honestly, as this matter couldn’t be hidden.
“Uh, that’s him??”
Emery was a bit surprised. She had seen Jacob occasionally when picking up the kids, and in her impression, he seemed to be a delivery guy.
But would a delivery worker really spend over fifty thousand on a bracelet as a gift? I must be mistaken!
“Who’s that woman next to him?” Emery asked again.
“Not sure, I’ll go say hi.”

“Macy, this is Aunt Josie.” Jacob casually introduced.

Josie responded with a smile, then took a chocolate out of her pocket: “Since this is our first meeting, here’s a little gift!”

Little girls always love candies and chocolates; it’s a way to win their hearts.
