The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 36

Questioning Expression

She was intrigued by how they located her so swiftly but dismissed the thought; Caelan likely utilised that connection in his Alpha intellect to trace her. She recognised that Mason could always locate her, having done so since her childhood, as not a single scraped knee had escaped his notice, even during his own youth.

She smiled inwardly. She had injured her knee yesterday, specifically just prior to entering Micah Garcia’s vehicle. ‘Ah,’ she contemplated, ‘he must have been nearby and observed her.’ That is how they discovered Micah Garcia. As she passed him, he tapped her knee, smiled directly at her, and observed that her knee was fully healed. He had been sufficiently proximate to perceive it at that moment.

Understood precisely the significance of her tap on his knee.

When Caelan enquired about the dress she was wearing, she responded truthfully and turned to face him as he growled directly at her. Appeared considerably irate regarding the matter.

What is the reason? She was unable to comprehend.

It was merely a dress, albeit a particularly attractive one, she contemplated. She appeared attractive in it and felt comfortable in it. In fact, she possessed several elegant dresses. She anticipated that they were returning to the pack. It is hoped that some of them were rather costly.

Required suitable attire for employment in the gallery, thus procured elegant garments. She felt comfortable in them and enjoyed dressing up, or so she believed.

Caelan became increasingly irate upon learning that Daisy had readily accepted and donned it without hesitation. The man was exhibiting peculiar behaviour, to say the least. Daisy was aware of their poor history, indeed a dreadful one, yet she had relinquished it entirely.

It was neither of their responsibilities; she did not hold him accountable and never truly had. However, it seemed he still harboured some disdain for her, or perhaps something else. She was unaware and intended to refrain from mentioning it. Had addressed it years prior and moved beyond it.

He radiated anger intensely, and suddenly he yelled at her, “Get in the damned car,” before stalking out of the room. Her gaze shifted to Mason with a questioning expression.

He merely shrugged at her, smiled, shook his head, and remarked, “The man is irritable.”

“It always has been,” she remarked somberly.

“Let us proceed home.” I am yearning for the largest steak available.” He leaped off the bed, seized her suitcase, and they proceeded downstairs and outside.

Daisy was utterly astonished to find Caelan standing by the car, smoking a cigarette. Wolves typically did not behave in that manner, and he had not been smoking during their mating. She had never detected it on him. She felt compelled to inform him, “That is detrimental to your health.” He disregarded her statement entirely, yet extinguished it and entered the vehicle as soon as she was seated in the back with the door shut.

Caelan remained silent as he escorted her to the private plane he had prepared. One hand clasped her elbow throughout. Daisy was uncertain whether he believed she would flee from him or attempt to escape. She was not foolish; Hudson would effortlessly apprehend her, and despite Amelia’s speed aiding her, they were no match for his Alpha wolf.

Alternatively, if he was merely guiding her, as she was entirely unaware of the destination, he remained silent until they boarded the plane, at which point he instructed her, “Sit there,” while indicating a seat. She complied with the instructions given to her. Impressive, this aircraft was indeed remarkable, she contemplated while surveying her surroundings. It had deep cream leather seats, could seat 10 wolves comfortably, there was a small bar and a three-seater lounge on the left side down the back near two doors. She was curious about that one had to be a bathroom for sure the other?

Caelan walked comfortably about and stowed her luggage easily. He’d been on this plane before. It was probably his plane, she thought as she watched him sit down. She knew that both he and Mason had pilot licenses, though there was a pilot on board, and the minute Mason was on and had pulled the door shut, Caelan called for them to take off.

Daisy dozed off sometime later. It had been a long few days for her, but with Mason around she felt completely comfortable and safe. He’d always been her protector. Presumably will perpetually remain so.

Daisy’s eyes abruptly opened as a sudden warmth coursed through her body. Panic surged within her as she thought, ‘No, not here.’ She propelled herself from the chair, nearly stumbling over the blanket that had not been present when she fell asleep. Was ensnared around her feet, ultimately succeeded in standing up.

Mason and Caelan were both staring at her, evidently taken aback by her abrupt and restless actions. ‘Crap, no, no, no,’ she thought; this could not be occurring at this moment. ‘Bathroom,’ she stated.

She exclaimed urgently, as both individuals stared at her with wide eyes and pointed towards the rear of the plane.

She sprinted and forcefully opened the first door, and fortunately, it was the correct one.

 Forcefully closed and secured it.
