Sophia seemed to realize what was happening and calmly lifted her head.
Then…
As if nothing had happened, she pressed herself against the left car door, her eyes fixed on the window.
Livinus played along, sticking to the right car door and staring out his window, as if the whole incident had been a mere illusion.
Meanwhile, Felix struggled to hold back laughter.
Watching two usually composed people try to cover up such an awkward moment was genuinely hilarious!
To see people who rarely showed emotion in such an embarrassing situation was pure gold! High-level acting, truly! Felix felt like applauding their performance.
Then Livinus shot a cold glare his way, and Felix quickly straightened his expression, saying in a serious tone, “Mr. Scott, are you alright?”
“…”
The driver, seeing Scott’s dark expression, panicked, afraid he might get fired, and hurriedly explained:
“Mr. Scott, a woman suddenly fell ill. I hit the brakes to avoid her.”
“Go check it out.”
—
Sophia felt that she and Livinus were simply not compatible, like their stars were in conflict.
Enough said; it was best if they avoided being in the same space.
She got out of the car to assess the situation and saw a woman who had suddenly fallen unconscious. Her body was convulsing, her lips were turning purple, and her fingers had started to contract, twisting into a claw-like shape—resembling Epileptic seizures!
However, patients with epileptic seizures typically wouldn’t foam at the mouth without reason. But this woman was foaming continuously, her body convulsing uncontrollably, drenched in sweat, and her complexion looked terrible. It seemed she was dealing with more than just Epileptic seizures
“Move aside!” Sophia said as she placed her fingers on the woman’s wrist to quietly take her pulse. Just as she finished, someone shoved her aside.
“Make way! Everyone, step back!”
A team of medical personnel arrived and lifted the woman onto a stretcher and into the ambulance.
Sophia noticed the hospital logo on the ambulance and frowned.
It was her internship hospital. Ambulances usually followed the principle of taking patients to the nearest facility, so going to her hospital wasn’t surprising. However, the woman’s condition was severe, and if they couldn’t stabilize her, the consequences could be death.
