Daisy’s Perspective
Daisy had been bonded to the future Alpha of the Lunar Moon Pack for one year. She had endeavoured for a year to understand him, engage in his interests, and was instructed by his mother on how to assume the role of Luna of the pack when the time arrived.
Caelan remained indifferent to her efforts; he showed no interest and never enquired about her. He despised being bonded to her. Despite his repeated enquiries regarding her actions, Daisy was unable to provide a response. She possessed no greater knowledge than he regarding their Marking and Mating.
She awoke in a bed beside him, marked and mated by him, having been the first to rise. Her body was in widespread pain, particularly between her thighs. She had stumbled out of bed after pushing an arm away from her, and she exhibited bruising on both her wrists and inner thighs, along with bite marks scattered across her body.
That was the extent of her knowledge regarding the matter. Upon gazing at the man in the bed, her heart nearly ceased to beat; Caelan Caldwell, the future Alpha of her pack, lay asleep before her. Had been exceedingly horrified. She possessed no recollection of the events that transpired.
Her father, John, had entered the hotel room in a frantic and anxious manner, presumably searching for her. She observed that it was daylight outside, indicating it had likely been absent throughout the night. Upon observing her bruised condition, he commenced shouting at Caelan. He awoke to the sound of the door slamming, as her father demanded explanations for why he would Mark and Mate his daughter.
Caelan, who had been astonished while observing the man, turned to survey the room. His green eyes fell upon her, and he appeared utterly shocked to find her frantically attempting to dress. After rising from the bed and touching his neck, his eyes widened, and he shouted, “What did you do to me?””
Daisy had erupted in tears. She was unaware of the events that transpired. This could not be her responsibility; she had never even had a boyfriend. She had just awakened, as he had.
Her father continued to rant, while Caelan shouted at him to be quiet, having located his trousers and hastily putting them on. To Caelan’s astonishment and hers, her father had not ceased speaking; he had directed a finger at Caelan, mere inches from his face, and reprimanded the future Alpha of their pack.
“You are mistaken in this instance.” I will ensure you are held accountable for your actions towards my daughter.
Caelan struck him directly in the face, much to Daisy’s dismay, and exited the room in a fury. Abandoning her father prostrate on the ground, haemorrhaging from his nose. She rushed to him and assisted him in standing up. “Father, are you well?”“She inquired.”
“Do not be concerned, Daisy.” Alpha Ronan will rectify this situation. “I assure you,” he stated, leading her directly to the Alpha’s office. Alpha Ronan observed Daisy and her condition. He noticed the mark on her neck, detected the scent of his son Caelan on her, and requested that she sit down to elucidate the events that transpired.
Seating had proven exceedingly uncomfortable, nearly inducing tears of pain. Ronan observed it and summoned the pack’s physician. He had already heard Caelan’s perspective; the man stood in the room, glaring at her throughout, seemingly indifferent to her suffering. Daisy informed her Alpha that she was unaware of the circumstances, awakening in a bed with Caelan, lacking any recollection of the events that transpired or how she arrived there.
She had been notified that she was missing and feared to be kidnapped.
“Darling, you have been absent for several days.”
“That is accurate,” Alpha Ronan informed her. “In fact, we have deployed search parties for four days in pursuit of you.” Caelan and Joe are currently searching for you.
“Now we understand why he never located her,” her father articulated with irritation.
“I did not abduct her,” Caelan had shouted.
Alpha Ronan subdued them and exhaled once more. Her father had informed Alpha Ronan that Caelan was now accountable for her. He was compelled to accept her as his Mate, regardless of his preferences. Alternatively, he would personally inform the Alpha Council of the boy’s actions, ensuring that the boy faced the maximum penalties under wolfen law.
Her father held a modest position within the pack as a border patrol officer, yet he steadfastly defended his daughter, supported by the law. Caelan exclaimed that it was absurd to compel him to remain Mated to the girl, given that neither of them understood how it occurred.
At that moment, her stepmother, Karen, rushed into the office accompanied by the pack doctor, observed her condition, gasped, and tears cascaded down her cheeks. Daisy was quite surprised, as they had not truly harmonised since she was approximately 12; there was no animosity, merely a lack of compatibility. “Who harmed my daughter?”She enquired while embracing her gently and assured her that everything would be fine.
The pack doctor examined her in the Alpha’s private bathroom amidst considerable shouting; he expressed regret for her condition, which was not his fault. She was on the verge of tears, and even Caelan had not offered an apology. He administered painkillers and assured her that, despite her wolf’s youth, she would recover completely within a few days.
Alpha Ronan concluded that Caelan must atone for his actions. Although neither could articulate the situation, she had been relocated to his room that afternoon as his Mate, a development he was not pleased with.
