Against the Alpha’s Claim – Chapter 311

New arrival

“Is she truly that detrimental?” He inquired.”

“Regrettably, affirmative.” Had I not concurred with Bella’s perspective on her Alpha Ordering, she would have evaded significant consequences. That girl is an exceptional actor; she deceived us all.” He nodded, “I would want to receive information regarding the new arrival. Consider visiting with Clara.

“You are most welcome, Alpha Philip.” Luke entered his vehicle to return to Buffalo for shopping.

Both she and Margaret awaited the arrival of their partners at the pack-house. They did not get home until nearly 6 PM, having evidently spent the afternoon shopping. Benzy had sent numerous calls to Margaret to ensure he was procuring her desired items.

They both giggled at the enormous teddy bear with which he had been photographed and was carrying. It was half his size. Lanky had captured the image and forwarded it to Margaret with the message, “The Pack Beta, a large, bloody ‘baby.’”

Margaret chuckled at her brother’s remarks and remarked, “Benzy is quite endearing in private.”

Bella laughed and instructed Margaret to respond with ”

“Where is Luna’s photo with her mate?” The response was, “Not permitted!”

The two exchanged glances momentarily before laughing. “I wager there are numerous,” Bella remarked with a chuckle.

“He simply wishes to avoid humiliation.” Obtained the Alpha image to maintain.

She sensed his return the moment he passed the pack boundary and subsequently encountered Margaret beside her, beaming with joy. The two awaited on the pack-house stairs as it began to storm again. She entered Luke’s office to retrieve a jacket from his closet for warmth. He anticipated that he would appreciate the sight of her wearing his jacket.

She had completed her wardrobe decluttering and attended her final dress fitting. She chose a dress that would accommodate a potential baby bump before the Luna Ceremony, rather than the one Luke had purchased for her, which was inappropriate for a wedding dress, overly revealing for the season, and exposed too much skin. It seemed she would also need to wear a cape, although it would offer minimal protection against the wind.

Contemplated at this moment while standing in the cold

She awaited Luke, contemplating whether her outfit was the appropriate selection; yet, she had recently developed an affection for it, and both his mother and hers had expressed their approval with smiles. Margaret and Dani chuckled and shook their heads, however both said that she was attractive in it. I purchased a white hooded cape to complement it, in the event of inclement weather.

His vehicle arrived, and she observed him exit and smile directly at her. “You look good in my jacket,” he remarked as he shut the door.

“It is cold, and I required something to maintain my warmth.” She reciprocated his smile. “I trust you do not object to my appropriation of items from your Alpha office closet.”

“I have no objections.” He ascended the stairs towards her, enveloped her in his arms, and grinned directly at her, “Now, we must proceed to my office for a short while.”

She laughed as he lifted her effortlessly. “Cease your behaviour; you are merely a lascivious individual.”

She was seated on his lap on the couch in his office, the door closed, after hearing him chuckle heartily. Observed his eyes go unfocused for a moment and attempted to rise, only to have his arms constrict around her.

“To what destination are you proceeding, my Luna?” He seems thoroughly amused to her.

“To examine your purchases.”

“What if I refrained from making any purchases?” He enquired in a grave tone.

Bella turned and gazed directly at him, “You did, did you not?””

“I am uncertain,” he replied with a shrug, yet subsequently smiled at her.

Maintained grip on her, and when she attempted to rise, refused to release her. Secured her firmly on his lap.

“Oh, you did, and you prefer that I do not see it yet.” She grinned directly at him, pleased that he had indeed purchased items that he favoured.

“Perhaps, or perhaps I only purchased the cot and bassinet.” Once more, he reverted to a serious demeanour.

“I suspect you are delaying me to ensure that your purchase arrives at the suite before I do.”

“I am,” he grinned quietly. “You will find it endearing; it is charming.” Prior to addressing that matter, I must discuss a critical issue with you. You may become angry with me.

Bella exhaled, “Is that so?” If you anticipated my anger, why proceed?

He grumbled, “My meeting today was with the Alpha Council.”

Mia’s punishment was delineated.

“Why would I become angry about that?”

“Because I failed to inform you that you were permitted to attend it as well.” I chose not to inform you because I wished to prevent your attendance. I did not desire your presence in a room with her.
