All I Want Is to Hug Her – Chapter 83

Thoughts

The little girl was quick-witted and instinctively wrapped her arms around him, her entire body pressed against Thompson Miguel, her palms tingling from the warmth of his skin.

Thompson Miguel’s eyes sparkled with amusement, his lips curling up:

“If you want to hug, just hug…”

Moore Audrey was originally still in a daze, but upon hearing this, her face instantly flushed, and her heart raced; Thompson Miguel must have lost his sense of shame recently!
The two arrived at the city library, and Moore Audrey’s face was still flushed.

Thompson Miguel, on the other hand, maintained a poker face, making it seem like she was the only one overly excited.

But she couldn’t think of any effective way to treat him, so she could only silently scorn his shamelessness.

Fortunately, after entering the library, the heat on Moore Audrey’s face finally subsided.

Although she didn’t really want to talk to Thompson Miguel, he initiated this outing to buy materials, so she could only ask him what materials he wanted to buy. Thompson Miguel might have been a bit of a failure in socializing, but he was indeed successful in his studies.

In terms of materials, the young girl still trusted Thompson Miguel, so she awkwardly asked him.

When it came to studying, Thompson Miguel became serious and earnest, generously listing a few sets of materials for her, and then the young girl went off to find the materials according to the library classification.

They didn’t stay in the library for too long; after buying what they needed, they set off for the milk tea shop that Moore Audrey often visited.

In the shop, they ran into the well-known couple from their class.

The girl was lively and outgoing, and her relationship with Moore Audrey was decent. Upon seeing Moore Audrey, she was momentarily taken aback, then smiled and greeted her.

Moore Audrey nodded and smiled back, only to see the smiles on their faces suddenly freeze, followed by a hint of surprise, and finally, they exchanged knowing smiles directed at her.

Moore Audrey was momentarily stunned by their tacit expressions when a familiar voice came from behind her, carrying his usual tone with a hint of familiarity:

“Are you still drinking fresh taro milk with sago?”

Only then did Moore Audrey snap back to reality, feeling a mix of amusement and exasperation; she finally understood their expressions.

They all thought she was dating Thompson Miguel, just like them, and that they were out on a date.

Moore Audrey didn’t know how to explain, so she turned to answer Thompson Miguel’s question and waited for their drinks to arrive.

During this time, Thompson Miguel rarely spoke, but he did mention a study problem; he said she hadn’t solved a question he gave her last night correctly and that he would explain it to her again tonight.

Moore Audrey nodded as she listened.

When their drinks arrived, Moore Audrey took a sip and looked up to see Thompson Miguel seriously studying the milk tea in front of him. Compared to his poker face, there was a certain contrast that was quite endearing.

Watching him, Moore Audrey suddenly let out a small, quiet laugh, then curiously asked:

“Thompson Miguel…”

The boy didn’t look up, still focused on his drink:

“Mm?”

Moore Audrey bit her straw, her voice muffled:

“Do you have someone you like?”

Thompson Miguel paused, looked up at her, and frowned slightly:

“Someone I like?”

Moore Audrey averted her gaze, not daring to meet his eyes, looking down, then quickly glancing up at him, as if preparing to whisper:

“Yeah… do you?”

Thompson Miguel looked at her for a moment, then seemed to think of something, suppressing the smile that was about to form on his lips, and deliberately nodded seriously:

“Yes!”

Moore Audrey’s heart skipped a beat, her expression faltered for a moment, feeling a bit anxious, she tried to suppress her emotions and feigned indifference:

“Oh… you really do…”

Thompson Miguel observed her expression, remaining impassive, only echoing with a simple “mm.”

Then… she saw the young girl deep in thought, looking conflicted.

Thompson Miguel’s lips curled slightly, but he said nothing and lowered his head to drink his own drink.

After finishing their drinks, they officially headed home, but the young girl still wore a contemplative expression.

All the way home, Thompson Miguel couldn’t help but glance at her several times, thinking that Moore Audrey was still a bit silly.

Because Moore Audrey was lost in her thoughts, the journey home was unusually quiet.
