All I Want Is to Hug Her – Chapter 67

Judge

She picked up the second shot put, preparing to throw it, but her eyes wouldn’t cooperate. As soon as she looked up and met Thompson Miguel’s gaze, her heart raced again. She faltered, and with a push, the shot put flew towards Judge No. 2 again!

Judge No. 2 gasped and stepped back once more.

Moore Audrey could only awkwardly touch her nose, bend down to pick up the third shot put, take a deep breath, and resolve that this time she would throw it well!!!

She got ready, posed, but still couldn’t shake her habit. She glanced at Thompson Miguel again, and the boy’s gaze met hers. He called out, “Go for it!”

Moore Audrey was momentarily stunned, and her hand dropped again, watching as the shot put flew straight towards Judge No. 2.

Judge No. 2 exclaimed again, joking, “If it were a flower ball, I could definitely catch it!”

Laughter erupted around, and Moore Audrey chuckled along, but thinking about how she kept throwing towards the judge, she felt a bit embarrassed and quietly stepped aside.

She didn’t know if it was her strange aura, but after her throws, the subsequent participants seemed to be cursed, each throwing their first shot put towards Judge No. 2 to varying degrees.

This left Judge No. 2 feeling helpless, frustrated, yet amused.

His repeated teasing added a lot of fun to the competition.

Moore Audrey mingled with the excitement of the last two or three participants but didn’t watch any longer. She glanced at Thompson Miguel across the way, feeling a bit shy, and decided to sneak away.

Walking on the field, the girl looked at her hands and sighed helplessly, her ordinary palms…

Lost in thought about her hands, she turned and bumped into someone.

Moore Audrey took two steps back, apologizing as she looked up. “Sorry…”

Before she could finish, she saw that face, and the words caught in her throat.

She averted her gaze, stammering, “Why are you… here too?”

Thompson Miguel looked down at Moore Audrey in front of him, pausing for a moment. “Didn’t you leave?”

Moore Audrey exclaimed softly, unable to say anything else.

She stared at the lawn, feeling frustrated. Could she really tell him that every time she saw him, she thought of that deadly smile from her dream…?

During the iron cake competition, Moore Audrey and Thompson Miguel stayed for a while, and the little girl made her first excuse to sneak away to the restroom.

She hid in the class logistics office to help out, giving her mind a break from all the random thoughts.

When she saw Thompson Miguel again, it was probably when she had changed into her performance outfit and was about to go on stage. Although the stage lights were scorching, they did not affect Moore Audrey’s view of the audience in the first two rows.

Fortunately, she was just a little maid with little presence, so as long as she waited for the right moment to perform her part, she could retire successfully.

However, the little girl did not expect that… as the art performance was nearing its end, it suddenly started to rain outside.

And today, when she hurried home to change clothes due to Jade’s urgent call, she had forgotten her jacket.

Of course… she definitely hadn’t prepared an umbrella.

Thinking of this, Moore Audrey stood at the door, watching the heavy rain outside, and her shoulders shrank a little.

How terrifying… this rain.

But she couldn’t think of any practical way to deal with it; it was clear that there weren’t many people with umbrellas. She could call home to have someone pick her up, but Moore Audrey felt that would be too much trouble.

After watching for a while, the little girl decided to wait until the rain eased a bit before heading back.

As for her best friend Jade, Moore Audrey had no idea where she had run off to.

After glancing at the rain, Moore Audrey sighed and retreated to a seat at the back of the reporting hall, pulling out her phone to play with it.

But it wasn’t long before her phone ran out of battery and shut down automatically.

Moore Audrey could only accept reality and put her phone away, resting her chin on her hands as she stared blankly at the rain outside.

Watching her classmates being picked up one by one at the door, Moore Audrey felt a bit envious, even though… she could also just call Moore Luis.

But it was already too late… Thinking this way, Moore Audrey felt a bit regretful for being so pretentious just now.

Unable to help herself, she sighed lightly and rubbed her arms; it was a bit cold in the rain.

Just as she was thinking this, a sudden breeze blew from behind, followed by a weight on her shoulder.

A somewhat familiar scent enveloped her nostrils, and warmth radiated from the clothes, accompanied by a familiar voice that vibrated above her head:

“Shall we go back together?”

Moore Audrey suddenly looked up, and the person behind her came into view, the boy’s delicate yet expressionless face tinged with seriousness.

Moore Audrey froze for a moment, straightened her neck, and turned to look at him:

“You brought an umbrella?”

Thompson Miguel nodded, and Moore Audrey felt delighted, excitedly standing up and patting him on the shoulder:

“Thompson Miguel, you’re so reliable!”

Thompson Miguel’s eyes revealed a hint of a smile:

“Let’s go!”
