Subsequent to my discussion with my mother. I chose to indulge my skin in warm water. I disrobe and proceed to the bathroom to bathe. My body exudes perspiration. I had just returned from the training ground when my mother contacted me. I unwind beneath the soothing water, relishing the experience. “Mmm, mmm.”
Following my bath, I donned shorts and a crop top. I gather my lengthy hair. “I must satiate my hunger,” I lament to myself.
I descended and proceeded to the kitchen to procure sustenance.
“Greetings, are you a newcomer here?” A voice enquires of me. I pivot to identify the owner of the voice. I was astounded by his beauty. The individual before me resembles a deity. He possesses short, golden hair and ocean-blue eyes. He is excessively attractive. I harbour considerable envy towards him. I gaze intently into his azure eyes. His gaze penetrated my soul. I remained still, as to a statue, revering the divine figure of a man before me. Impressive! He is exceedingly attractive. He is more lovely than I am.
“Greetings, are you present?” He confirmed, tousling his hands. I was jolted from my thoughts by his voice.
“Expectoration.” This is quite humiliating. “What prompted my prolonged gaze?”He must have concluded that I was a deviant at this point. Oh my goodness! Jessica, what influenced your behaviour?Jessica’s introspection.
“I apologise for gazing at you; I recognise that it is impolite for a woman to glare in such a manner. Please forgive me,” I stated, feeling increasingly uncomfortable.
“It is acceptable,” he states.
“Oh, God. His voice evokes a desire to embrace and consume him. ‘Why am I experiencing these feelings?’ I believed I had suppressed any emotions I should harbour for a man. ‘What distinguishes him?’ ‘Why do I desire him?’ I have encountered various men in the pack, yet I possess no interest in any of them. I remain indifferent to them. ‘Why am I developing feelings for him, a stranger?’
“I am Jimmy. Are you new here?” he asked, smiling and revealing his pristine white teeth. “What is your name?”
“This individual is exhausting me.”
“Where should I begin in addressing your inquiries?” I smile.
“I am Jessica, a longstanding member of this pack. I believe it is I who should pose this inquiry, as I am one of the female warriors,” I responded.
“I apologise for the oversight. I comprehend your position,” he murmured. It has been an extended period since I departed from the pack for my training. I believe I should formally present myself to you.
“I am Jimmy, the prospective Beta of this pack. I have been absent for an extended period due to my beta training,” he stated, smiling.
I am astonished. “He is Bria’s elder brother, the one she frequently mentions. Did I just display an attitude towards him?” Oh my God. This is embarrassing! I just fawned over Bria’s brother.
“I apologise; I assumed you were a stranger as I have never encountered you before,” I stated, expressing regret.
“It is acceptable, Jessica. May we establish a friendship?” he enquired.
“Friends?” With an attractive male?” Is that permissible?” I have never established a friendship with a male wolf before, not even within my pack; every male shuns me as if I were a contagion.
“Indeed, we can establish a friendship,” I said to him.
Since my acquaintance with Jimmy, he has consistently been a helpful friend. We trained together on the practice pitch; although we were both robust, he possesses greater strength. As our relationship deepened, we engaged in many activities together. I like his companionship.
“Jessica, why are you not attentive?” Jimmy enquires. “What is troubling you? Can you disclose your concerns to me?”
There is no issue with expressing my opinions to Jimmy. Our friendship has flourished as we become acquainted over the weeks.
“I have numerous issues that I have repressed, Jimmy. I am attempting to manage them, but they continue to trouble me,” I conveyed to him.
“Could you please share it with me?” he implored.
“It was nothing negative; I was merely contemplating my friend,” I informed him.
“What? Jessica, do you possess a mate?” he enquired.
“Indeed, I have a companion, but regrettably, I am inadequate for him; he rejected me due to my weakness and clumsiness. Most significantly, I lack a wolf.” I expressed.
“What did you say?” He what?” He dismisses you due to your lack of a wolf?” Did he intend to harm you?” He is aware of your deficiency and still rejects you. He is a despicable individual and a serial killer,” he bellowed. “Who is that reprehensible person?”
“Jimmy,” I urge him, be composed. He is not a somebody we can provoke. I am also devising my retribution against him.
“He is not an individual I can confront?” Oh, truly?” Please inform me, Jessica, who is your companion?” he exclaims.
