“Maybe I won’t be able to stop, and I might make you cry. Can you handle that?”
“It’s okay. I… want it too, dear.”
With a voice that trembled slightly but was clear, Dylan responded.
“I’ll show you properly. That I’m yours, and you’re mine.”
Lola, who wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, pressed her lips against his like sealing a stamp.
“You’re mine too, dear.”
Yes, I’m yours.
You’re mine.
So don’t be anxious from now on.
His touch was gentle, soft, and affectionate, as if to soothe her troubled feelings that she must have endured alone, considering her innocence.
Lola decided to fully entrust herself to him, following her instincts.
There was no further conversation between the two, but their bodies knew how to respond and act accordingly.
Dylan embraced her, swallowing her breath as it surged into him like waves, holding her again and again.
Once, twice, and throughout the night….
It was still dark all around, but Dylan, feeling thirsty, woke up early. From the looks of it, it seemed to be dawn since the day had not yet brightened.
Snooze.
He heard a soft, comforting breathing sound nearby. Lowering his gaze, he saw Lola sleeping.
As he caught sight of her bare white shoulder, Dylan reached out to cover her with the blanket but hesitated for a moment.
Seeing the colorful red marks he had left all over her body, indicating there was not a single unscathed spot, a sigh escaped Dylan.
‘You bastard!’
He was completely out of his mind.
He knew very well that she was his first.
And even though he was aware that it was overwhelming for her to accept him, he had desired her time and again.
Even he thought he looked like a starving beast last night.
Why did it happen?
Until now, he had never lost his self-control in any situation.
She must have been in a lot of pain.
“I’m sorry. I hurt you.”
Dylan sighed softly, almost inaudibly, as he pulled Lola closer to him.
“I’m sorry. I just fulfilled my own desires.”
“Hmm…”
Did she hear his low mumble?
Lola let out a sound that resembled a moan and nestled into his arms.
‘Was Lola this small and delicate?’
She looked just like a baby bird.
He wanted to hold her, protect her, and embrace her.
Dylan unfolded the rolled-up blanket and draped it over her shoulders.
Peck!
And he gently kissed her lips.
“Hmm…”
It felt as if she was responding to his soft kiss.
Dylan felt a throbbing sensation below and his body itched again, but he couldn’t touch her.
‘This is driving me crazy!’
If he touched her any further, he wouldn’t be human.
Then he would truly be a beast.
Even when he tried to get up, he couldn’t move because she was clinging tightly to him.
If she woke up even for a moment, he felt he wouldn’t be able to hold back without embracing her.
“Ha! You bastard!”
The frustrated sigh that slipped through his lips shattered into the air.
*******
Slowly, the day began to brighten.
Lola, waking up, frowned immediately. Her body ached all over, and there wasn’t a spot that didn’t hurt.
Struggling to suppress a groan, she finally lifted her eyelids and saw him sleeping beside her.
She tried to get out of bed, but he was holding her tightly, making it impossible for her to move.
“Let’s sleep a little longer.”
As if sensing her movements, Dylan spoke without opening his eyes. Lola felt awkward.
“Um… Dear. If I wake up any later, I might be late for the hospital.”
“What should I do? I don’t want to send you to the hospital today.”
He wanted to be with her all day.
He didn’t think it would be boring.
It was the first time he had such thoughts after living as a workaholic, and it was absurd to the point of being uncharacteristic, but that was how he felt.
“Why? Why not?”
There was a tremor in her voice as she fumbled for words.
Was it just her misunderstanding?
For some reason, she seemed to have misunderstood his words.
Finally opening his eyes, Dylan met her surprised gaze.
“What do you mean why? I want to be with you.”
His tone was so nonchalant that Lola couldn’t tell if he was joking or serious.
Was he perhaps trying to sulk because she had unilaterally canceled their plans?
She had no words to say about putting him in a difficult position.
So, while she didn’t quite understand his sulking, today was a bit troublesome.
“Dear, are you still angry?”
As she carefully observed his expression, Dylan looked rather puzzled.
“What do you mean?”
“I couldn’t get my wedding dress fitted because I had to go to the seminar that day. If it’s about that, I’m really sorry, Dear.”
