Against the Alpha’s Claim – Chapter 216

Unlikely to occur

She exited the apartment to saw his entire unit emerging from their own suites. Observed Benzy kiss Margaret as Lanky grimaced in response. He remained used to his tiny sister accompanying the packs Beta.

“Good morning, Luna.” The lanky individual grinned at her. “Are we training today?”“

“I am,” she said, and they proceeded together to the gym.

“It will be beneficial to have you train with us again,” Benzy remarked with a smile.

“I no longer train as I once did, so please be gentle with me.”

“Negative.” Benzy shook his head. “That is unlikely to occur; you must return to optimal physical condition.”

“Be cautious,” she heard Luke admonish him, regarding him with curiosity. “

“Her posterior is quite satisfactory.” He chuckled gently and winked directly at her.

She shook her head again and descended the remaining stairs ahead of them, sensing Tyler’s restlessness. “It’s acceptable, Tyler; I understand it has been some time. We will manage adequately.”

She was hissed at by her own wolf but dismissed it. Tyler seemed apprehensive about engaging in combat with other wolves, particularly given their recent self-discoveries during training. She wished to avoid causing harm to anyone.

Entered the gym to discover around 30 individuals engaged in training. She was acquainted with all of them; they smiled at her, and she reciprocated, although she sensed Tyler’s restlessness and perceived irritation emanating from her wolf. ‘Calm down.’ We will be alright. Macky is present; should any incident occur, he will employ that Gamma magic on us. It is evident that it functions.

She remarked, “Tyler is somewhat uneasy and does not wish to cause harm,” as she observed Luke observing her while being met with a growl and a sigh.

“Would you consider sparring with me exclusively today?” Does that assist her?“

Bella presented the concept to Tyler and subsequently shook her head. “Not quite; she is irritated and…,” she contemplated, “I believe she is angry.”

“For what purpose?”The entire unit enquired.

“I am uncertain, to be candid; she is likely experiencing stress related to the impending confrontation.” It was peculiar, undoubtedly, and atypical for Tyler to exhibit growling and snarling behaviour; she was typically quite loquacious, articulate, and adept at expressing her desires. It was uncharacteristic of her wolf to respond in such a primal manner.

She stood before Luke for hand-to-hand instruction, and he smiled at her. “No funny business,” she mumbled up at him.

She observed him smirk slightly and narrowed her eyes at him, disapproving of that expression. He better be quick, Tyler. She attempted to get her wolf’s attention; Tyler was roaming within her consciousness, saw her pause and gaze at Luke, emitted a low snarl, and appeared irate with him. Which was atypical for Tyler. That was mostly Bella’s inclination; it was often Tyler attempting to appease her.

She evaded and manoeuvred, parried his strikes; he restrained his force today, which contrasted with their previous training methods. Speculated whether he was now avoiding touch with her due to his role as their Mate.

She was perspiring profusely within approximately twenty minutes, raised a hand to signal him to stop, and attempted to dismiss it, feeling somewhat disoriented, even dizzy. She noticed him halt and frown at her, reached out to touch her forehead, and Tyler lunged forward, delivering two rapid, powerful punches—one to the solar plexus and the other to the jaw—with full wolfen strength. A whole growl erupted from her when she did so.

Observed him falter backward, eyes widened at encountering her, as he attempted to inhale. Tyler had incapacitated him; she shook her head as Tyler withdrew, subsequently whimpering in agony. She had the anguish transfer from her wolf to herself and groaned, clutching her abdomen as she swayed, attempting to ascertain the cause of her and Tyler’s distress.

Luke restrained her on the ground moments later, vociferously instructing everyone to evacuate. Amidst the cacophony of shouts, she sensed Tyler’s growl within her consciousness and subsequently reached for him.

“Breathe, Bella; concentrate,” he instructed her.

“I don’t…l.” Pain coursed through her, and neither she nor Tyler appreciated it.

“You are entering estrus.” “Breathe,” he instructed her.

Inhaled sharply as a profound pain coursed through her body. “It causes us pain.”

“The initial experience is the most challenging,” he mumbled, his gaze averted from her and directed somewhere in the room.

“I must escort you to the suite.” He eventually averted his gaze back to her. “Please hold on for a moment; the path will soon be unobstructed… inhale.” His hand glided down her cheek as his body pressed against hers. She clung to him, pressing herself more firmly against him, entwining her legs around him and holding him tightly, moving her body against his. “Please,” she implored.

He murmured, “Damn,” as his lips met hers.

She was tugging at his garments, scratching, swaying, and pressing herself against him. It provided some relief from the discomfort; I heard him curse again, then he rose, and she embraced him closely while engaging in vigorous activity.

Bella, once the cherished lover of future Alpha Luke of the Red Moon Pack, finds her world shattered when she is banished from her pack. Her crime? Striking Luke’s newly discovered fated mate with claws unsheathed—a reflex her wolf, Tyler, cryptically defends with the words, “To protect the pup.” Stripped of her place in the pack and warned never to return, Bella complies, narrowly avoiding the rogue label since Luke has not yet ascended to full Alpha status. Heartbroken and resolute, she retreats to the human world, immersing herself in university life to complete her law degree. Bella carves out a new existence as a successful divorce attorney, far from the pack that cast her aside, the future Luna who despises her, and the secret she guards fiercely—her children, the legacy of a love she can never reclaim. Six years pass in self-imposed exile, but the past refuses to stay buried. When an official letter from the Red Moon Pack demands her return, Bella defiantly burns it, vowing never to step foot in Luke’s territory again. But Luke, now the reigning Alpha, is relentless. He will bring her back, no matter the cost. Bound by the constraints of human law and society, Luke cannot simply take her by force—her prominence in the human world complicates any attempt to make her disappear. Yet, he is determined to claim what he believes is his by right. As their paths cross again, Bella is thrust into a storm of conflicting emotions. Her wolf yearns for Luke, urging her to reclaim the bond they share, but Bella’s heart is torn. She despises the man who cast her out yet still feels the undeniable pull of their connection. To her, Luke’s motives are clear: he wants his heirs by his side, not her. She believes his wolf drives him to claim her, while the man himself sees her merely as the mother of his children, a convenient solution to his legacy. But is that the truth? Or does Luke harbor a deeper love for her that he has yet to admit—even to himself? In the battle between pride and fate, will Bella surrender to the mate bond or stand firm in her resolve to remain free? Only time will reveal whether their fractured past can heal, or if the scars will prove too deep to overcome.
