Dr. Sophia – Chapter 243

Commanding Aura

As she was about to put her phone away, she had a sudden thought and opened her WhatsApp contacts. Surprisingly, she still had Sophia’s contact.

Back when she and Scott Henry had been having an affair, Olivia had sent photos to Sophia. Although Sophia hadn’t responded, she also hadn’t blocked her.

Olivia smirked and sent a photo to Sophia along with a message:

“Bet you never imagined this day, huh? When you got married, the Scott family didn’t even give you a proper wedding. But now, here I am, having a grand wedding, living in your house, and sleeping with your man. Meanwhile, you left the Scott family with nothing, like a beaten dog. What a wonderful feeling!”

Then, as if her audacity wasn’t enough, she added:  “I’m so happy. Thank you for stepping aside. From today onward, I’ll be sure to cherish everything you’ve given up for me.”

 —

Sophia hadn’t gotten out of bed yet when the message arrived. Since she’d started living with Livinus, she often slept in.

It wasn’t entirely her fault. After being worn out by multiple rounds of nighttime activity, including being coerced into physically demanding positions that felt like gymnastics, who wouldn’t need extra rest?

Livinus was relentless in bed, constantly pushing her limits. Only after her voice went hoarse from crying and pleading did he finally let her rest.

Sophia sighed as she got up, her legs wobbling. She barely managed to fall onto the carpet.

Life with Mr. Scott: Day N. Still wobbly legs.

Meanwhile, Livinus heard her phone buzzing but didn’t bother to check. However, since her phone wasn’t password-protected, he accidentally saw Olivia’s provocative message when the screen lit up.

Livinus’s previously calm expression darkened, his sharp eyes reflecting displeasure and a dangerous glint.

He knew today was his nephew’s wedding.

What he hadn’t expected was Olivia’s audacity as a mistress.

The phone buzzed again, another message from Olivia:

“Are you free today? I’d love to invite you to my wedding.”

Livinus forwarded the messages to himself before handing the phone to Sophia. “Someone sent you a Whatsapp.”

“Hm? Who?” Sophia rarely contacted others and hardly posted on social media.

After reading Olivia’s messages, Sophia muttered, “Crazy woman,” before sneering. “Does she think I won’t show up?”

“You can’t go!”

Sophia snorted. “She invited me. How can I not honor her with my presence? But let me make this clear: there’s no way I’m giving her a wedding gift. At most, I’ll give her a paper offering.”

Livinus gave her a cold look. “You think I’d let you meet your ex-husband?”

Sophia froze, then asked, “Mr. Scott, don’t you have any ex-girlfriends?”

Ignoring her, Livinus wiped the shaving cream off his face and snorted as he walked out.

His voice drifted back. “There will be media at the event today.”

Sophia hesitated. Did he have ex-girlfriends or not?

Initially, she had planned to confront Olivia. The woman’s arrogance was infuriating—she deserved to be knocked down a peg. But with the media present, Sophia decided against it. She didn’t want to become a target for gossip, especially given her complicated relationship with Livinus.

Instead, she took screenshots of the messages and shared them in a group chat with her friends Chloe and Sophie.

The chat immediately erupted:

“Shameless fool!”

“More like a shameless white rose!”

“I’ve never seen anyone this brazen!”

“People who are shameless are invincible!”

After sending her messages to Sophia, Olivia was in an exceptionally good mood. At this moment, she was certain Sophia must be miserable, possibly seething with anger, wishing she could tear Olivia apart. But what could Sophia do? Nothing. She could only watch helplessly as Olivia, wearing an expensive wedding dress, walked down the aisle arm-in-arm with Scott Henry.

And Sophia? Sure, she could find another man to marry, but that man’s status would never compare to the Scott family. Plus, Sophia was a divorced woman now, and in today’s world, no man with decent qualifications would want her. This thought made Olivia feel triumphant.

“Is the groom’s makeup done?”

“Yes,” the makeup artist replied. “The wedding party will be arriving soon.”

“I know.”

After a flurry of activity, everyone headed to the hotel. Although Scott Henry had complained to Kim Brown about not wanting to get married, he eventually went along with it. Surrounded by friends and laughter, the atmosphere was rather pleasant. Olivia, dressed meticulously in her wedding gown, radiated a unique charm despite her obvious pregnancy. She looked like a wild lily in bloom.

Scott Henry took Olivia’s hand as they walked to the wedding venue. It was a sunny day, and the outdoor ceremony felt cozy. Many guests attended, and the couple was in good spirits.

Then, Livinus entered, instantly becoming the center of attention.

Even though he wasn’t the groom, the guests couldn’t help but gravitate toward him, engaging him in conversation.

Tall and imposing, with sharp features and a commanding aura, Livinus stood with one hand in his pocket, casually chatting with the guests. Though not overly warm, he was polite and approachable, effortlessly leaving a favorable impression.

This made Scott Henry furious.
