Scott Henry didn’t reply, downing drink after drink as Kim Brown joined him. They sat together all afternoon, and by the time they left the bar, it was already dark.
“Hey, are you okay?”
Kim Brown helped him into her car. As she was about to say something, she realized he was already passed out.
Not wanting to confront Olivia, Kim Brown decided to take him to her place.
After much effort getting him into her room, Kim Brown was about to lay him down when Scott Henry suddenly pulled her onto the bed.
Fueled by alcohol, Scott Henry leaned toward her. Kim Brown’s fragrance, distinctly feminine, stirred something in him, and his hands began to wander.
Kim Brown tried to resist, but his touch oddly made her feel comfortable.
Her jacket slipped off, revealing a deep-V dress that highlighted her curves, further exciting Scott Henry. In no time, he had her pinned beneath him.
“Are you crazy, Henry? We shouldn’t be doing this…”
Scott Henry wasn’t sure what he felt—perhaps slightly drunk but far from incapacitated. Kim Brown looked stunning, her dancer’s physique exuding both grace and strength, mesmerizing him.
“You’re so beautiful, Kim…”
With that, his hands wandered further.
Kim Brown initially intended to resist, but as things escalated, she found herself responding, her arms wrapping around him.
Two hours later, Scott Henry sobered up, and the two were left in awkward silence.
“Hey, what now? Olivia’s going to kill you,” Kim Brown teased, nudging him.
“I don’t care. Right now, I just want you.”
A seasoned flirt, Scott Henry knew how to please women. Before long, Kim Brown was blushing and smiling.
Dancers like Kim Brown had well-maintained physiques and a unique rhythm in bed, making the experience even more captivating. Having abstained for a while due to Olivia’s pregnancy, Scott Henry was especially eager, and the night ended with both fully satisfied.
Before leaving, Kim Brown suggested, “Since we’re so compatible in bed, why not develop a no-strings-attached relationship?”
Scott Henry froze for a moment. Most women sought status and wealth from him, but Kim Brown didn’t care about any of that—she valued him as a person.
“Whatever you say,” he replied, surprisingly docile.

Late that night, Scott Henry finally returned home. Olivia, writhing in pain, complained, “Henry, my ankle hurts so much.”
Scott Henry frowned. “I told you to go to the hospital for surgery, but you refused.”
“Surgery? Without anesthesia? Do you want me to die from the pain? Besides, if I want to return to the entertainment industry, how can I have a scar on my ankle?”
Scott Henry sighed. “What do you want me to do? You’re afraid of pain and don’t want a scar.”
“Did you call the doctor?”
Scott Henry hesitated. “What doctor?”
“Didn’t Mom tell you? There’s a famous doctor in the mountains who’s incredibly skilled. Someone with a broken leg was cured through acupuncture and therapy without surgery. My minor issue should be nothing for him. Henry, you have to find him for me. I’m carrying your child and gave up my career in entertainment for you, and you can’t even find a doctor for me?”
Olivia’s tearful accusations made Scott Henry feel guilty.
He did love Olivia but couldn’t understand how he had ended up entangled with Kim Brown. It wasn’t just once—it had happened multiple times that night. The memory of her lingered, making him crave more.
“Henry? Are you even listening to me? By the way, why is your face swollen? Did you get into a fight?”
Scott Henry dodged the question. “It’s nothing. I’ll ask Mom to find the doctor for you tomorrow.”
“Okay.” Olivia felt suspicious but couldn’t confirm her doubts, so she let it go and went to sleep.

Early the next morning, Chloe invited Sophia and Nancy to the Chloe Spa for a soak.
Chloe had been dealing with a cold, and Sophia had prepared herbal medicine for her to soak in, which alleviated symptoms better than regular medication.
As the three of them settled into wooden tubs, Chloe admired Sophia’s curvaceous figure and laughed, “You young girls who haven’t had kids have such great bodies. Look at me—after having a baby, my stomach is so loose.”
Sophia’s figure was so alluring that even women found it tempting, let alone men.
Chloe couldn’t help but wonder which part of Scott Henry’s brain was blind enough to let go of someone like Sophia to choose someone like Olivia. Clearly, he was setting unrealistically high standards. Chloe prided herself on maintaining her body and appearance through beauty treatments, yet even she envied Sophia.
Chloe chuckled, “I’m nowhere near Sophia. Her figure is amazing. By the way, Sophia, are you still in touch with Logan?”
Sophia shook her head. “No, we haven’t been in touch.”
Chloe, who had evidently inquired about Logan, asked, “Sophia, I heard from him that Livinus seems to have feelings for you. What’s going on between you two?”
