Then he received a video call from Moore Audrey and answered.
The girl’s soft, fair face appeared on the screen, her eyes bright and full of energy.
Unable to resist, he rubbed his fingers together and nodded in response to the girl’s greeting.
Then he watched her find a place to prop up her phone, raising her hand to demonstrate on her own face.
Then he heard the girl ask him if he could see the positions clearly, and the slightly distracted boy paused, taking advantage of his poker face, shamelessly shook his head:
“I can’t see clearly…”
Moore Audrey was patient and earnestly demonstrated it again, asking him:
“Did you see it clearly this time?”
Thompson Miguel looked at her for a few seconds and finally nodded:
“I saw it clearly…”
Moore Audrey looked at the boy’s indifferent expression and felt something was off. After thinking for a moment, she said:
“Why don’t you do it once for me to see… that way I can confirm if you remember!”
Thompson Miguel stared at her for a few seconds but still nodded in compromise.
He turned around and searched his room, finally choosing a shelf in the bathroom, where he usually placed his tablet.
The boy raised his hand to prop the phone up there, and as the angle shifted, Moore Audrey could only see the boy’s neck and above on the screen when suddenly a blinking white area appeared.
The boy seemed to be too hot, with two buttons of his shirt undone, revealing his exquisite and beautiful collarbone.
Moore Audrey paused, slightly turned her head, raised her hand to fan her ears, thinking to herself:
Thompson Miguel seems a bit flirty today…
But hearing the boy’s voice saying he was ready, she still calmly turned her head to look at the screen.
Looking at him:
“Do a demonstration for me!”
Thompson Miguel nodded, raised his hand to press a few acupoints, and after pressing two, he heard the girl exclaiming that he got it wrong.
Then he obediently listened to the girl’s slightly stern words:
“Weren’t you supposed to remember?”
Thompson Miguel met her gaze, looking innocently calm:
“I remembered it like this…”
Moore Audrey frowned but still patiently raised her hand to demonstrate it again.
Thompson Miguel followed along, and this time he finally got it right.
Moore Audrey felt relieved, smiling gently at him:
“Just like that! As long as you do it this way every day… I think your poker face will be cured soon!”
The girl paused, then couldn’t help but proudly add:
“Look, you smiled today!”
Thompson Miguel was taken aback, raised his hand to cover his lips, suppressing the smile in his eyes.
Thanks to his poker face, his expressions were subtle, still maintaining a blank expression, but with a hint of obedient seriousness.
He nodded in agreement at her proud little face.
Just then, Moore Audrey’s phone rang twice, and the girl exclaimed, telling him she had to hang up because her phone was out of battery.
Thompson Miguel nodded as well.
After hanging up, he raised his hand to take down the phone, which was already hot to the touch.
Then he exited the chat interface and finally clicked on the photo the girl had sent earlier to take another look.
After thinking for a moment, he opened Chrome and typed,
Chrome search: Jade
After waiting for two seconds, he looked at the popped-up entries, seriously reading from top to bottom, and finally nodded thoughtfully.
Not as impressive as him…
He then turned to look at that person’s photo, frowned, thinking it was okay-looking.
As he thought, the boy suddenly turned around, facing the mirror in the bathroom, placing his phone next to Thompson Miguel in the mirror, looking for a while, nodding, still thinking he was a bit more pleasing to the eye…
Then he closed the page, took his phone out of the bathroom.
When he was about to close the album, the boy paused at that group photo again, and finally clicked edit to crop out the other half of the picture, his furrowed brow relaxing as he nodded.
Now it matched the proportions of the photo…
Taylor Callum has been very busy lately, not only having to work overtime to make up for the schedule he missed during his recent vacation but also to complete the already arranged itinerary.
