Sam Noah poured himself a glass of water, his sweat tousling his hair, yet he didn’t appear disheveled; instead, there was a certain rugged beauty to him. His toned muscles were taut, and his face appeared even more chiseled. As he tilted his head back to drink, sweat trickled down from his forehead, sliding down his well-defined profile, then along his taut neck, solid chest, slightly bulging abs, and finally flowing into the gap between his hips and pants.
Thelma gasped, not daring to look any longer.
Hearing the noise, Sam Noah instinctively glanced over and saw her standing at the top of the stairs, looking flustered.
“Are you hungry? Mrs Smith has already prepared breakfast.”
Thelma awkwardly smiled, “Okay.” She looked around but didn’t see Tyler and asked, “Has Tyler not woken up yet?”
“Tyler,” Sam Noah replied calmly and naturally, “He got up early this morning saying he missed his aunt, so I took him to your sister’s place.”
Thelma: “…”
Tyler actually went to her sister’s? Mrs Smith and Aunt Hope usually have their own plans after finishing household chores, which meant it was just her and Sam Noah at home today?
How truly…
Just thinking about how she had secretly touched his face last night and got caught made her feel embarrassed.
Fortunately, Sam Noah didn’t mention that incident.
Sam Noah went upstairs to change clothes, and by the time Thelma was sitting at the table eating breakfast, he had changed into a white shirt and black casual pants. The shirt was also casual, with two buttons undone at the collar, slightly revealing the lines of his chest muscles.
Thelma could hardly bear to look at him; she felt he looked particularly sexy in this outfit.
It was really deadly.
“Are you going to the company today?” Sam Noah asked her.
She had been very busy recently, sometimes even working overtime at the studio on weekends.
“No need. The new song has been released, so I won’t be too busy for a while.”
“I see…” Sam Noah said casually, “Since you’re not busy, how about we go on vacation to Ashbourne together? You’ve been too busy lately and need to relax, and I happen to be free as well.”
Vacation in Ashbourne? Just the two of them? Sam Noah probably just wanted to take her out to relax, but Thelma had a jumble of chaotic thoughts. She felt it wasn’t quite right, yet inexplicably, these chaotic thoughts excited her. She adjusted her breathing and nodded as calmly as she could, “Okay.”
After finishing breakfast, the two set off. Thelma thought about going to the beach and specifically brought a few beach dresses.
They took Sam Noah’s private plane there, and soon they arrived. The hotel had been booked in advance, and there would be someone to pick them up.
In a place like Ashbourne, it was tourist season all year round, so there were many people along the way, but surprisingly, the hotel they were staying at was very quiet.
Sam Noah had booked a suite, but upon entering, Thelma realized that this suite only had one bedroom. It seemed that he wouldn’t personally handle room bookings, and the staff, not understanding the situation, assumed they were a couple and only booked a suite with one bedroom.
Thelma initially planned to remind him, but after thinking it over, she felt that Sam Noah would surely notice the oddity, and he could arrange it later. However, Sam Noah seemed completely unaware of the issue and calmly unpacked their luggage.
Thelma turned her head away, her face flushed. Since he hadn’t said anything, there was no need for her to say more; well, it would be fine like this.
“We’ll…”
Thelma originally wanted to ask where they were going next, but when she turned her head, she found Sam Noah leisurely unbuttoning his shirt. In no time, he had taken it off and tossed it aside, revealing his well-defined muscles.
Thelma hurriedly averted her gaze. What was this person doing, why was he not wearing clothes again…
Sam Noah finished tidying up and asked her, “The beach is right behind the hotel, do you want to take a walk?”
Thelma cautiously looked over, only to see that he had changed into a pair of swim trunks at some point. She hurriedly averted her gaze, landing on the nearby wardrobe. “Are you going swimming?”
