The Love She Never Saw Coming – Chapter 32

His Senses

The little one furrowed his brows, thinking of a solution for his mom. Suddenly, his eyes lit up, and he said, “Don’t worry, Mom! I can help you.”

“Ah, really?”

Thelma turned her sadness into joy and saw the little one put down his backpack, take out his watercolor pen, and then color over the scratch on the rearview mirror.

With the black watercolor pen, after coloring, it was surprisingly unnoticeable.

Thelma: “…”

The little guy looked at her with an expectant expression, “How is it, Mom?”

This idea wasn’t very good, but it should be able to cover it up for now. Thelma couldn’t bear to discourage him, so she gave him a thumbs up, “My son is amazing!”

“Hehe, Mom is amazing too.” The little guy was very happy to receive praise.

Thelma: “…”

Sam Group was also in the new district, not far from “Thelma Studio.” Although she had thought that Sam Group was quite impressive, she didn’t expect it to be so grand. The entire building was the office area for Sam Group , which was truly luxurious in Brackenfield.

Knowing that Sam Noah was busy, Thelma didn’t disturb him and directly contacted his assistant, who was named Wade. He was also Sam Noah’s driver, and Thelma had met him before.

“Madam, Tyler, this way please. The president is currently in a meeting; I’ll take you to the president’s office to wait for him.”

To get to Sam Noah’s office, they had to pass by the conference room. Unexpectedly, the conference room door was not closed, and Thelma immediately saw Sam Noah sitting at the head of the table.

The company had heating, and he was wearing a shirt and dress pants, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He rested his hands on the edge of the table, and his exposed arms exuded a sense of solid strength.

He leaned forward, looking down at the people below, his face seemingly holding a smile. However, the heavy and authoritative aura around him was so strong that it made the atmosphere in the conference room particularly tense, with a full room of people not daring to speak.

He slammed a document on the table and slowly asked, “Is this the market integration report you gave me?!” There was no tone of reproach, just a simple inquiry, but every word carried a sense of weight that struck directly at the people present.

The people below didn’t even dare to breathe.

Even just watching from the side, Thelma felt almost suffocated by his powerful aura.

Wade, however, remained calm and said to her, “Madam, this way please.”

The president’s office was very large, with a floor-to-ceiling window, so it was well-lit. The decor was simple yet modern, and many things in the office used artificial intelligence systems, such as the air conditioning, air humidifier, and even the curtains.

After sitting down in the office, Thelma felt a bit anxious. It was evident that Sam Noah was not in a good mood today. If he found out that his beloved car had been scratched by her, she didn’t know if he would be furious.

After the meeting, Sam Noah didn’t rush out. He sat at the head of the table, pressing his temples. Wade cautiously approached and said, “President, Madam and Tyler are here.”

“Mm?” Sam Noah seemed to still be in a daze. “Who did you say came?”

“Madam and Tyler. They said they came to pick you up after work…”

Before Wade could finish, Sam Noah walked out. He opened the office door and indeed saw the mother and son playing Ludo inside. This spacious and cold room seemed to be filled with warmth and a cozy atmosphere because of their presence.

The mother and son turned to look when they heard the sound. Thelma saw Sam Noah standing at the door, smiling at them, and his aura was not as heavy and imposing as it had been in the meeting.

“Are you off work?” Thelma asked him.

He finally came back to his senses, half-clenching his fist to his lips and lightly coughing, “I’m off work.”

“Then let’s go.”

Sam Noah seemed a bit surprised, “You came to pick me up?”
