“Darla, should I be apprehensive about this?” She enquired directly, considering her three youngsters. If his wolf was a menace, then they may not be secure in the presence of his creature.
“No, no, no… He would never harm you or the children.” Darla rushed out, “just as you would never harm him.”
Bella acknowledged this; she would never purposefully harm Luke, and she was certain that Tyler would never harm Maddis, having adored her Mate from the moment she detected his smell. She was exceedingly pleased to return to the pack and to discover that her Mate was the father of her offspring. Occasionally murmured softly to herself on such fact.
It seemed probable that she would need to converse with Luke regarding his wolf. Request that he elucidate this matter to her. She did not want Maddis to be a menace or unmanageable around the children. She wished for them not to fear him. That would be undesirable.
Tyler felt exasperated with Bella’s perspective, disapproving of her negative thoughts on her partner. However, they no longer recognised him; it had been six years since their exile, and from what she had heard, he no longer resembled the wolf he once was.
‘Maddis, kind and virtuous. A robust Alpha is all that matters,” Tyler exhaled in frustration at her.
I understand your feelings; cherish him. However, it has been an extended period, and we are no longer familiar with him.
He is my mate and the father of our offspring; he would never harm them. I have confidence in him.
Bella groaned and took her leave from Luna to check on the triplets, aware that they were upstairs with Dani. Luke requested her presence in his office, and she instructed Dani to observe them.
They discovered the quartet engaged in a game of Go Fish, seated themselves on the ground, smiled at them, and participated in the subsequent game. It was pleasant to simply relax and socialise. She had postponed making those calls, knew that it was an obligation she must fulfil, but refused to act at his behest. She would proceed when she felt prepared.
Observed Dani receiving a call from her mother, Nina, enquiring about her well-being. I observed Dani enthusiastically discussing the house they were residing in, followed by a grunt of exasperation: “Yes, Mum, I not only have a room to myself but an entire suite.”
Bella grinned, uncertain of how long it would be her own room, likely not for long. Dani remained oblivious to the wolfen realm and would require a gradual introduction to it over the forthcoming weeks. It is probable that she will pass a whole week without any wolf sightings, followed by the opportunity to observe one or two of them. Although she recognised that Nina was cognisant of the presence of wolves in this area, Luke had informed her accordingly.
Bella conversed directly with Nina, informing her that she was indeed feeling better and had recuperated from her emotional distress upon learning of her mother’s assault and near-fatality. Informed her that her mother was awake and improving rapidly. Dani verified that. Additionally, having encountered Bella’s mother personally.
The triplets conversed with Nina. The girls smiled at her during the video conversation and said that their father was kind. Karis, however, offered little commentary on the matter, only stating that he possessed a room of his own, as did both Arana and Minka. He had not yet approached his father, circumventing him throughout breakfast and failing to reciprocate Luke’s greeting of ‘good morning.’
Luke attempted to converse with him but received no response from Karis. She had anticipated assistance from her with the issue. She had not provided it; he had yet to respond to Karis’s enquiries into his whereabouts. She believed that unless he acted, it was improbable the boy would engage with him at all.
Bella comprehended all perspectives; her son sought to ascertain the whereabouts of his father throughout his life. Why had he not been present? Luke was unable to respond without exacerbating the situation; he had exiled her from the pack, which explained his ignorance of them. He would be unable to assert that she had never informed him about them, for if he disclosed this, it would be her responsibility; she would claim that he had exiled her prior to her awareness of the pregnancy. He found himself in a vicious cycle, and he was aware of it, or likely was. Although he had not yet referenced it himself.
Luke found himself in a more precarious situation at that point. No matter how he evaded responsibility, he ultimately had to acknowledge that he was the one who dismissed her and instructed her never to return. It is not a pleasant revelation for the youngsters, regardless of its veracity.
Bella also assumed he would endeavour to prevent such whenever feasible. He needed to devise a credible explanation that would not portray him as a harsh individual in the triplets’ perception.
She was presently delegating it entirely to him. Bella was uncertain about her actions had he not exiled her. Would she have disclosed this to him? She genuinely lacked knowledge, considering he had a Mate! Did you know she would still reside on campus? Although it was probable that she would have informed her parents, the outcome remained uncertain; it was a futile exercise in speculation that rarely concluded favourably for anybody.
Although she likely would have remained far, she understood that the dread of his Mate and the safety of her children would persist, maybe exacerbated if the lady were aware of their existence. She may have ultimately returned to her mother’s former pack; it is probable that her parents were aware that his Mate, the prospective Luna, would object to him siring offspring with another.
A part of her, deep within, understood that they would never have been secure here. Their parents likely did not anticipate that they would be either. Exhaled softly and dismissed those ideas. She was reluctant to pursue that course of action, since she had yet to confront them over what they had both permitted to transpire.
